How to delete your Faith Homoeopathy account, and what happens to your data when you do.
How to delete your account
You can do this yourself from inside the app. No support request is needed.
Open the Faith Homoeopathy app and sign in.
Go to Profile and tap Delete Account.
We email a 6-digit verification code to your account email address. Enter that code to confirm it is really you.
Confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you can no longer sign in, email drgeeta@faithhomoeopathy.co.uk from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm your identity by reply before acting on the request.
Want a copy of your data first? In the app, go to Profile → Export My Data to download everything we hold about you as a PDF. Do this before you delete. Deletion is irreversible.
What is deleted straight away
Your sign-in account. The email address is fully released and can be used to register again later.
Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, gender, the health issues and health goals you told us about, and your profile photo (including the stored image file).
Your push-notification token, so the app can no longer send anything to your device.
Any appointment you have not yet attended is cancelled, and your clinician is told that it was cancelled because the account was deleted.
What we keep, and why
A small number of records are kept because we are legally required to keep them. They are anonymised first: your name, email address, phone number and other contact details are erased, so what remains is no longer linked to you as an identifiable person.

Clinical records from your care: consultation notes, prescriptions, messages with the clinic, and the habits and symptom check-ins you recorded in the app. Kept for at least 10 years after your last consultation. Homoeopathic practice works from the long-term case record: a case is re-read and reinterpreted over many years, and the de-identified case series is the clinical evidence the practice itself learns from.

Appointment, payment and invoice records, kept for 10 years for tax and accounting.

Security audit entries, including a record that the deletion took place.
Because these records no longer identify you, they may be kept beyond the periods above. De-identified clinical information is not personal data, and retaining a case series for study does not require a deletion date. What is not kept is anything that identifies you: everything in the list above is erased the moment you confirm, and it is that erasure, not a future deletion date, that makes your record anonymous.
Removing some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete everything to remove individual items. From inside the app you can delete your profile photo, your habits and habit history, and any saved payment method, while keeping your account. You can also delete a message you sent in the clinic chat, for up to 24 hours after sending it.
